Length
5 nights aboard Valiant Lady
Starting at
$1,125 per person, Insider cabin, two sharing

Join Majestic Dream Vacations aboard Valiant Lady for five nights out of Miami over Memorial Day weekend. You sail on Saturday evening, spend the holiday Monday on Grand Turk in the Turks and Caicos, and give Wednesday to The Beach Club at Bimini, Virgin Voyages’ own beach club in the Bahamas, before the ship brings you back to Miami on Thursday morning. Two days at sea sit between the islands, so the week never feels rushed.

Virgin Voyages is adults only, with no formal nights, no buffet and more than twenty places to eat included in your fare, which makes it an easy ship to share with friends. Norman has sailed Valiant Lady and has spent a day at The Beach Club at Bimini, and this is the sailing he would pick for a group that wants a proper break without using a week of vacation days.

Who this is designed for

This sailing suits you if

You are celebrating with friends

A birthday, an anniversary, a group that keeps saying it should go away together. The ship is social without being loud all day, and nobody has to pack a jacket and tie.

You want a real break on a few vacation days

Saturday to Thursday over Memorial Day weekend costs three weekday vacation days. Two beach days, two sea days, and back in Miami early Thursday morning.

You are traveling solo

A group sailing means familiar faces at dinner, and every guest is 18 or older. Virgin prices a cabin for one differently from a shared cabin, so ask us for the solo price and you get the real number before you book.

Day by day

Itinerary

Round trip from Miami. Two days at sea, a Memorial Day on Grand Turk, and a full day at The Beach Club at Bimini.

29 May

Saturday 29 May · Miami, Florida

Arrive at Terminal V at PortMiami, Virgin Voyages’ own terminal, check in and board Valiant Lady. The ship is scheduled to sail at 5:00 PM, and everyone needs to be aboard an hour before that, so plan your flight with room rather than to the minute. We recommend flying in the day before. Find your cabin, find the pool deck, and watch Miami fall away as the long weekend starts.

30 May

Sunday 30 May · At sea

A full day aboard. A fitness class, the spa, a long lunch at one of the ship’s restaurants, a hammock on your Sea Terrace, or nothing at all. The first sea day is when a group finds its rhythm.

31 May

Monday 31 May · Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos

Memorial Day, spent on Grand Turk. In port from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Grand Turk is the capital island of the Turks and Caicos, with white sand, clear water and the streets of Cockburn Town, the island’s historic capital, to explore. Spend the day on the beach, walk the town, or book a Shore Thing on the water.

1 Jun

Tuesday 1 June · At sea

The second day aboard, between the Turks and Caicos and the Bahamas. Book your dinner at The Wake or Test Kitchen, catch a show in The Red Room, and save some energy for the beach tomorrow.

2 Jun

Wednesday 2 June · The Beach Club at Bimini, Bahamas

In port from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The Beach Club at Bimini is Virgin Voyages’ own beach club, reached by a free tram from the ship. The food here is included: an all-you-can-eat Bahamian-inspired spread, with soda and water. So are the lagoon-style pools, the private beach, loungers, daybeds and hammocks, and the DJ. Cocktails, cabanas and watersports are extra. This is the day the whole group ends up in the same place, and it is the one people talk about afterwards.

3 Jun

Thursday 3 June · Back to Miami

Valiant Lady is scheduled to arrive in Miami at 6:30 AM. Allow up to an hour for the gangway to open and for disembarkation before you book anything onward, and choose a late morning flight or later.

Ports can move

Before you book

Important notes

Will a Majestic Dream Vacations host travel with the group?

When 16 cabins have paid, a Majestic Dream Vacations host travels with the group. Below that number the trip runs without one, and you have a named contact at Majestic Dream Vacations who handles anything that comes up while you are away.

Is there a minimum age?

Yes. Virgin Voyages is adults only. Every guest must be 18 or older at the time of sailing. This is not a sailing children can join.

How do crew gratuities work?

They are not in the fare. Virgin Voyages charges a daily service gratuity of $20 per person per night if prepaid, which is $100 per person for this sailing, or $22 per night if charged on board. One daily gratuity covers the whole crew, so there is no tipping on drinks, spa or dining on top of it. Prepaid gratuities are non-refundable.

What if I need to cancel?

Your cruise is booked with Virgin Voyages, and cancellation follows Virgin’s terms for your fare. We book the group on Virgin’s Essential fare, which is refundable as Future Voyage Credit:

  • Cancel within 7 days of paying your deposit, and more than 120 days before sailing, and you receive a full refund
  • After those 7 days, and up to January 29, 2027, your deposit becomes a Virgin Voyages Future Voyage Credit and any other payments are refunded
  • From January 30 to April 14, 2027, everything you have paid, apart from taxes and fees, becomes Future Voyage Credit
  • From April 15, 2027, payments are non-refundable
  • Future Voyage Credit is issued by Virgin Voyages to each traveler, cannot be transferred to anyone else, and must be used on a voyage booked and sailed within one year of May 29, 2027
  • Prepaid gratuities are non-refundable

Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

What documents do I need?

This sailing calls at two destinations outside the United States, the Turks and Caicos Islands and the Bahamas. You are responsible for carrying the passport, identification, visas and any other documents the sailing requires. Tell us your citizenship at booking and we will confirm what applies to you well before you reach the pier.

What about accessibility and dietary needs?

If anyone in your party uses a wheelchair or scooter, tell us at booking: Virgin Voyages requires a Fully Accessible Cabin and at least 45 days’ notice. Virgin Voyages’ kitchens are not allergen-free, and Halal and Kosher dining are not offered, so tell us about any serious allergy before you book.

What about the weather?

Early June is the start of the Atlantic hurricane season. Cruise lines adjust routes around weather when they need to, which is one more reason travel insurance is worth taking.

Is the price fixed?

Fares on Virgin Voyages move daily. The prices on this page are Virgin Voyages’ published Essential fares on 28 September 2026. Your price is confirmed at the time of booking, in writing, before you pay anything.
