Iceland feels alive beneath your feet. Volcanic terrain, geothermal water, glacial rivers and open skies create a landscape where the elements are always part of the story.

Your home for five nights is central Reykjavik, close to the harbor, cafes, shops and cultural landmarks. A guided day on the celebrated Golden Circle and a private day along the South Coast anchor the week, while two open days give you room to explore Reykjavik at your own pace.

This is an experience designed for travelers who want meaningful exploration without rushing through every hour. You will share the signature moments together and still have space to follow your own curiosity.

Day by day

Itinerary

Seven days built around guided signature experiences, two flexible exploration days and a central Reykjavik stay.

Day 1

Thursday 22 April · New York City to Iceland

Make your way to John F. Kennedy International Airport for your overnight journey to Iceland. Round-trip airfare is included in the package. The airline, flight number, schedule, cabin and baggage allowance are still to be confirmed.

Day 2

Friday 23 April · Welcome to Reykjavik

Arrive at Keflavik International Airport and meet your transfer representative for the journey to Reykjavik. Your Blue Lagoon arrival experience is included: a soak in mineral-rich geothermal water before you continue to the hotel. Check in at Center Hotels Plaza, or a similar standard hotel, and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 3

Saturday 24 April · The Golden Circle

After breakfast, travel through the Golden Circle to Thingvellir National Park, where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates slowly pull apart. Continue to the Geysir Geothermal Area to watch Strokkur erupt on its regular cycle, then feel the mist rising from Gullfoss as glacial water plunges into a rugged canyon.

Day 4

Sunday 25 April · Reykjavik on your own

After breakfast the day is yours, at your own pace. Hallgrimskirkja Church, the Old Harbour, Harpa Concert Hall and the shops along Laugavegur are all within walking distance, with the city’s cafes and coffee houses in between.

Day 5

Monday 26 April · The South Coast, privately

A private full-day South Coast tour, included in the package, with pickup in Reykjavik at 8:00 and drop-off at 18:30. Skogafoss and its clifftop viewing platform, the glacier tongue at Solheimajokull, lunch at The Soup Company in Vik, the black sand and basalt columns of Reynisfjara, and Seljalandsfoss, where the path runs behind the falling water. Lunch is not included in the tour price.

Day 6

Tuesday 27 April · Reykjavik at leisure

Your final full day, at your own pace: a favorite neighborhood revisited, locally made Icelandic gifts, more of the city’s food, or an unhurried afternoon at the hotel. A farewell dinner is a fitting way to end the week.

Day 7

Wednesday 28 April · Departure from Iceland

Enjoy breakfast, check out and transfer to Keflavik International Airport for your return journey to New York City. Leave Iceland with memories of powerful waterfalls, volcanic landscapes, Nordic culture and meaningful moments shared along the way.

The elements set the pace

The order of activities may change because of weather, road conditions, attraction availability or operational requirements. Iceland’s weather turns quickly, so waterproof outerwear, warm layers and sturdy walking shoes are worth packing.

A written confirmation of your place, your occupancy and the total you owe. If you are taking a payment plan, the dates and amounts are set out in writing before you pay anything.
