Join the Barnhill family sailing from Miami aboard Carnival Sunrise. We start with a night in Brickell, board on Monday, and spend five days moving between sea days and island days across the Bahamas: Half Moon Cay, Nassau, and Carnival’s brand new Celebration Key. Everyone gets their own pace, and everyone is back at the table for dinner.

One night in Brickell, five nights aboard, a sea day, three island days, and a morning back in Miami.

Day 1 · Sunday, July 18, 2027 · Arrive in Miami

Fly into Fort Lauderdale or Miami and make your way to Brickell, the downtown neighborhood across from Brickell City Centre. Hotel check-in is at 3:00 PM. The rooftop pool and bar are the best way to spend the afternoon.

Suggested Flight (Optional, Not Included): JetBlue 745, Philadelphia (PHL) to Fort Lauderdale (FLL), 8:05 AM to 10:53 AM.

Overnight: AC Hotel by Marriott Miami Brickell

Day 2 · Monday, July 19, 2027 · Embarkation Day

Check out by 11:00 AM and head to PortMiami to board Carnival Sunrise. Find your stateroom, take a first walk around the ship, and be on deck when we sail away from Miami.

Day 3 · Tuesday, July 20, 2027 · A Day at Sea

The ship is the destination today. Carnival WaterWorks is the splash zone, Punchliner Comedy Club and the Playlist Productions stage shows fill the evening, and there is a youth space for the kids. Meet at RedFrog Pub or Piano Bar 88 when the day winds down.

Day 4 · Wednesday, July 21, 2027 · Half Moon Cay, Bahamas

Sandy beaches, clear water and plenty of wildlife in the sea and along the shoreline. A beach day, at whatever speed the family wants.

Day 5 · Thursday, July 22, 2027 · Nassau, Bahamas

The ship is in port from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Bay Street is a short walk from the harbor, with duty-free shopping and Bahamian crafts. Fort Charlotte and the colonial buildings that house Parliament are worth a visit, and a horse-drawn carriage tour covers them in style.

Day 6 · Friday, July 23, 2027 · Celebration Key, Bahamas

The ship is in port from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Carnival’s newest destination, built exclusively for Carnival guests on the south side of Grand Bahama island. Sixty-five acres, a mile-long white sand beach, one of the largest freshwater lagoons in the Caribbean, and local Bahamian food and shopping. Something for the little ones and something for the adults.

Day 7 · Saturday, July 24, 2027 · Home

We arrive back in Miami at 8:00 AM. Have breakfast, say goodbye to the ship, and head home.

A $150 per person deposit holds your stateroom. Open the Booking Page to start. If anyone needs an accessible stateroom, tell us early, because they are limited and are secured first.

Request your airfare and hotel quote

Airfare and the Miami hotel are quoted separately, because airfare changes often and has to be priced at the time you book. Email hello@majesticdreamvacations.com with your departure city and the number of travelers, and we will send a quote for flights and for the night of July 18 in Brickell.

Cabins finalized by March 21, 2027

Stateroom availability and pricing can change until reservations are confirmed, so the sooner your party is settled, the better.

Final payment due April 28, 2027

Travel insurance is optional and strongly recommended. Airfare, the Miami hotel and ground transportation are not included, and we are happy to quote all three.

Accessible staterooms are limited and are secured first. Please tell us early if anyone in your party needs one.

Is travel insurance included?

No. It is optional, at $79 per person for Interior and Ocean View or $109 per person for Balcony, and it is strongly recommended.

When are the deadlines?

Cabins must be finalized by March 21, 2027, and final payment is due April 28, 2027.
