Kia turns 55, and the plan is to mark it somewhere with an ocean in every direction. Family and friends, three nights at sea, one full day on a private island, and a ship built for exactly this kind of gathering.

It is the most approachable trip we run. At $275 per person to start, a milestone celebration abroad costs less than most people assume, and the planning is already done.

Day by day

Itinerary

One day at sea, one full day at Celebration Key, and the rest of the time aboard.

Day 1

Friday 20 November · Miami, Florida

Carnival Conquest departs Miami at 3:30 PM, so there is a morning to spend in the city first. South Beach and its Art Deco frontage, Cuban food in Little Havana, or the Everglades by airboat if you arrive early enough to justify it.

Day 2

Saturday 21 November · At sea

A full day aboard with nowhere to be. Pools, the spa, Guy’s Burger Joint, the Alchemy Bar, the Punchliner Comedy Club, dive-in movies and live shows. The birthday dinner lands this evening.

Day 3

Sunday 22 November · Celebration Key, Grand Bahama

Docked from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Carnival’s newest private destination on Grand Bahama Island: beaches, lagoons, and the birthday itself spent on white sand.

Day 4

Monday 23 November · Back to Miami

Carnival Conquest arrives back in Miami at 8:00 AM. Breakfast aboard before disembarking, and book flights home with room to spare rather than to the minute.

Arriving a day early

A pre-cruise night in Miami’s Brickell district on 19 November is available at additional cost, and is worth considering if you are flying any distance. Hotel and pricing are confirmed on request and depend on availability when you book.

Before you book

Important notes

Is my deposit refundable?

No. All payments, deposits included, are non-refundable and non-transferable. Cruise inventory is held on terms that do not refund us either, which is why travel insurance is worth taking rather than merely considering.

Can I change who is travelling?

Name changes are not permitted. Name corrections, for a spelling that does not match a passport, may carry a fee from the cruise line.

When do I have to book by?

Reservations must be made no later than 60 days before departure, and final payment on existing bookings is due 28 August 2026. Cabins at the starting price are limited and go in the order deposits arrive.

Is the price fixed?

No. Prices are subject to change until a booking is confirmed and paid, which is how cruise fares work generally rather than anything specific to this sailing.

Do I need a passport?

This sailing calls at Grand Bahama, so travel documentation requirements apply. Tell us your citizenship at booking and we will confirm what you need in good time, rather than you discovering it at the pier.
